The stay was surprisingly pleasant for a budget motel. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the rooms were unexpectedly clean, especially for their age. A convenient perk was the free coffee in the lobby in the morning, and the access to a mini fridge was really useful. However, the lack of air conditioning made the room hot and uncomfortable at first, and I found a hair on the sheets which cast doubt on the cleanliness. Still, the quiet atmosphere and lovely surroundings made it a decent choice for a quick stop.

I had a great experience with a super clean and spacious room, but the lack of a coffee maker was a letdown. I’d definitely come back to stay again!

would definitely come back there
Great location with beautiful views of the woods and river. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, and good wifi. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The outdoor area had benches for relaxing and a grill for barbecues. Overall, it was a comfy place to stay after exploring Gold Beach.

Friendly staff made check-in simple.
My family and I were seriously disappointed during our stay. The room was filthy with dust and a dead bug on the beds, raising major concerns about cleanliness. To make matters worse, the noisy environment had loud guests outside keeping us up all night, making us feel unsafe and anxious even to sleep. I expected a relaxing time but ended up restless and uncomfortable instead.

The spot offers a terrific outdoor area, complete with benches and barbecue facilities, perfect for unwinding after a long day. A solid view of the bridge over the Rogue River adds a nice touch to the ambiance, making it feel a bit more upscale than typical one-nighters.
The hotel shows its age, with worn furniture and some cleanliness issues. My room had a lingering strange odor that didn't sit well, likely due to older building materials or smoke from nearby wildfires. The cleanliness wasn't great, with visible dust and hair left behind, and the parking lot often felt crowded, especially during busy weekends.

Great stay for budget conscious travellers
Nice hotel with a secluded location, among the trees, outdoor area with benches and barbecue facilities, was a pleasant surprise. I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner when I arrived, felt taken care of right from the start!
It's not inexpensive, but all things considered, it was acceptable.

great spot for exploring gold beach's parks and landmarks
I found Gold Beach to be such a serene getaway, especially since I enjoyed how close it was to the beautiful Rogue River Bridge and the charming Crow's Nest restaurant, making my stay feel both relaxing and convenient. The staff here are friendly and the Wi-Fi worked well, making it ideal for a weekend trip for a solo traveler like me who loves exploring the area on foot.

Consider asking for a room on a higher floor for a better view and less noise from the parking lot.

The burgers at Crow's Nest are a must-try, a juicy local delight! Also, the staff went above and beyond to keep my lost laptop safe. Plus, the friendly cleaning crew added a warm touch to our stay.
It's a bare-min hotel, not gonna lie. No AC and the rooms are exposed directly to the parking lot, so expect some noise.
